
T.U.G. and the Eternus Engine
On the Nerd Kingdom Team, I wore many hats. I started working on the UI for both the In-House Engine and their game called “T.U.G.” at the time. I did UI, UX, concept art and some web design.
Eternus Engine
During my time at Nerd Kingdom, I worked on the Eternus Engine which was at the time being used to develop T.U.G. (The Unannounced Game) which eventually became “My Best Buds,” a sandbox game. Below are mockups for the final engine UI.
The image to the right is a breakdown of various UI elements in a properties panel/inspector.
UI Visual Development
I pushed for the UI in “T.U.G” to be somewhat alien, while having a clear UX used for building and collecting resources.
While not officially a web designer, I was certainly up to the task of designing Nerd Kingdom’s website. I wanted the art to be front and center, with some visual depth using blurs and lighting.
